OUR CAVAS AND WINES

There is no doubt that the location of our property in the main entrance of Sant Sadurní is privileged. Not only because of the beautiful extense vineyards that surround us but also because it is only 20 km away from the Mediterranean sea and 30 km away from the city of Barcelona.

The light of the Mediterranean sun and the proximity to the sea make our grapes ripen preserving all their aroma and freshness, what contributes in a decisive way to the vigorous and effervescent character of our cava.

Our main objective is the worldwide recognition of the exclusive quality of our cava. That is why every year we elaborate our cava following the traditional method in order to offer the world this wonderful product.

FAMILY SPIRIT

The Ventura Soler’s marriage gathers together the long winemaking history of two traditional families of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. In 2003 we decided to create our own family business, holders of vineyards and wine knowledge that has been passed on from generation to generation, at the service of the creation of the ideal sparkling wine.

Little by little, our seven children have accompanied us moved by the same enthusiasm and committed to the constant growth of our cavas.

Elaboration process: from the grapes to the cava

Our cava is the result of a creative, spontaneous and natural process in which the grape’s juice life provokes happiness bubbles.

01/ THE VINEYARD AND VINIFICATION

THE NATURAL RESOURCE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN

The production of our cava begins in the countryside, where the Mediterranean sun ripens our prized grapes. It continues with the dedication of the men and women who take care of the vineyard with care and diligence.

Finally, the season of harvesting, pressing and vinification arrives, which we carry out using our own enological techniques< /strong>, combining ancestral procedures with new technologies.

02/ Bottling

THE TRADITIONAL FAMILY RECIPE

Our wine is bottled through a precise process, using the classical bottle shape for a natural fermenting process that allows the Cava fermentation and sparkling to begin inside. The bottles are kept horizontally in our own caves where the cool and constant temperature is the key to the development of the perfect bubbles!

03/ Perfect ageing

MOTHER NATURE 

For the perfect aging process, our wine is given time in the caves, it needs nothing but peace and quiet.

The yeasts work tirelessly inside each bottle, the sparkles are created, and the sediment gradually precipitates to the base, while continuing to enrich the Cava for some years.

04/ Disgorging and storage

WE KNOW IT’S READY BY CHECKING ITS TASTE

The process of disgorging allows us at last to extract the deposits from the base of the bottle, by bringing them to the neck of the bottle using vibration methods. The bottle is immediately hermetically sealed with a top-quality high- density cork. The finest conservation of the Cava is ensured by the perfection of this last step.

ENVIRONMENTAL  RESPONSIBILITY 

Aware of the importance of protecting the environment, we strive to make our cava with a high level of quality and ensure that the production process have as little environmental impact as possible.
